University of Sunderland
The story kicked off in 2020, when a brand-new medical school decided to lace up and take a chance in a humble 5-a-side league. What started as a scramble for players has since grown into a fully fledged, NAMS2-competing squad - one that’s even survived a couple of gritty seasons in the Sunderland Sunday League.
Despite being one of the newer medical schools on the scene, the team has held its own against giants like Lancaster and Manchester in the NAMS league, proving increasingly competitive year after year.
The foundations are still being laid, but the future looks bright. With a wave of younger players bursting with talent and ambition, the club is steadily evolving from an underdog story into a real contender.

Harry Geddes: Highly important attacking member of the team for 5 years. The clubs current leading goal scorer. Currently working as an FY1 in Exeter
Aaron Dixon: 5 years of hard graft in net. Absolute wall, making the scoreline of our earlier games a lot nicer on the ears. Currently an FY1 in North Tees
